Introducing the recipient of the 2026 NYDAC Schola

Introducing the recipient of the 2026 NYDAC Scholarship - Allison Dorsey.

Allison is a graduate of the Musical Theatre Class of 26 and is so thrilled to be joining the NYDAC board. She is originally from a small town in Massachusetts and has had the absolute pleasure of studying the thing she loves most in Pittsburgh for the last four years. Her love and aspiration to pursue the arts began with the help of her mother, who danced with her to Norah Jones (or Orange Owens, as Allison affectionately called her) every night to help her fall asleep. She has let passion, art, and, most of all, love lead the way every day since. :)
